The same software, two ways to contract it. Most of our clients pay for development and subscribe to an operations plan that keeps the system running, secure and backed up, without dealing with infrastructure.

Frequently asked questions about custom software
Why a custom system instead of off-the-shelf software?
Off-the-shelf software forces your operation to adapt to its screens. A custom system mirrors your process: your team works the way it always has, but without spreadsheets, without double data entry, and with all the data in one place.
What does the operations plan include?
Hosting and infrastructure, monitoring, daily backups, security updates, bug fixes, support for usage questions and a monthly cap of hours for minor adjustments. Improvements and new features are quoted separately, or included in an evolution plan if you prefer a fixed fee with development hours each month.
Can you integrate the system with electronic invoicing?
Yes. We integrate with electronic invoicing providers in the Chilean market, as well as payment gateways and APIs of other services your operation already uses.
What happens to my data if I end the operations plan?
The data is always yours. You can request a complete export in standard formats at any time, at no cost. When the plan ends we hand over that export and delete your data from our systems within a defined period.
Who owns the software?
It depends on the model. With a purchase with full rights assignment, the code is yours once the total is paid. With development plus usage license, the code remains Infonaut’s and you have the right to use it with no time limit while the operations plan is active. This is set out in writing in the contract before we start.
Can I buy the software later if I started with a usage license?
Yes. The contract includes a buyout option, with terms set out in writing before we start. When you exercise it you receive the source code and documentation, and you can run it yourself or stay with us.
